Chilling footage shows moments before man is repeatedly stabbed outside busy pub

Chilling footage appears to show the moments before a man was stabbed outside a busy pub.

The 23-year-old victim suffered several stab wounds in the attack which happened at the Fatling Hornchurch pub in Havering, east London, in the early hours of Saturday.

Police have issued an image of a man they want to talk to in connection with the incident.

This evening the Met Police told The Mirror that the victim is not in a life-threatening condition, and enquiries are continuing.

In a statement the Met said: “At 00:06hrs on Saturday, July 23, officers on patrol were made aware of a 23-year-old man who had been stabbed at a pub on the High Street.

“They called for support from the London Ambulance Service and provided first aid to the man, who had suffered a number of stab wounds.”

Detective Sergeant Joe Seals, from the local policing team in Havering, said: “We have been carrying out a number of urgent enquiries to track down the person responsible and we are now in a position to release an image of a man we need to identify.

“I would encourage anyone who recognises this man, or any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police, to contact us immediately.”
